Professional Disclaimer

Kidney Vitality was founded and formulated by Professor Mohammed Mahdi Althaf (GMC 7216325), a UK-registered Consultant Nephrologist and Acute Physician. This page clarifies the boundaries of his professional involvement with the brand.
1. Commercial role
Professor Althaf acts in a commercial capacity as founder, formulator and scientific advisor to Aura & Oak LTD. References to his GMC registration, consultant title and post-nominals describe his clinical qualifications; they do not constitute personal medical advice or endorsement of Kidney Vitality as a treatment for any condition.
2. No doctor–patient relationship
Browsing this website, purchasing the product, or contacting us does not create a doctor–patient relationship between Professor Althaf and any visitor or customer. For personal clinical advice, please consult your own GP, renal team or NHS 111.
3. Independent NHS practice
Professor Althaf's NHS and academic appointments are entirely separate from his commercial activities with Kidney Vitality. He does not promote the product to his NHS patients and his employer endorsement is not implied.
4. GMC professionalism
We follow the General Medical Council's guidance on doctors working with the pharmaceutical, supplement and wellness industries, including the principles set out in Good Medical Practice on honesty in financial and commercial arrangements.
5. Editorial & advertising
All marketing claims on this website are restricted to nutrition and health claims authorised under retained EU Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 and follow the ASA CAP Code rules for food supplements. We do not make medicinal claims.
